I went to Salon 801, which is on the 8th floor of the building I work at. Not only was the place swanky (I mean, they even gave me some champagne!), but the hair stylist they put me with was fantastic! I just told him colors I like, styles I like, and relayed that I'd prefer a longish length still, but otherwise I just let him do his thing.

He dyed my hair red at the top, but then he did a copper-like color underneath it, so that it would peek through. He cut my hair with a slight A-line feel (which I had told him I liked) but gave it a shaggy, more playful feeling. He also rocked my bangs — I love them!

I would also like to add that he did NOT use a razorblade. <3<3<3 And my hair FEELS amazing and light-weight which is fantastic since I have such thick course hair.

I highly recommend this place. They're expensive but they're really, really good.
